Kilmallock Railway Station Clean Up Works: After making representations since 2009 on Kilmallocks local area plan and through Kilmallock Tourism Development Ltd to Iarnrod Eireann, I am delighted to announce that we received confirmation last Friday that Iarnrod Eireann has agreed to carry out much needed works on the Kilmallock railway station grounds and building. These will include roof works, painting to the front facade of the building and repairs to the station walls, where required. Kilmallock Tourism Developments CE scheme supervisor Max Hennessy will liaise with Iarnrod Eireanns maintenance manager on behalf of Kilmallock community. This could now be the motivation thats needed to get a committee together, as much requested by Peter Hennessy and others in the community.

The Club are running a Clothes Recycling Drive on Friday November 24 between 6pm and 8pm in Patrickswell National School and on Saturday November 25 between 9am and 11am in the clubhouse. We can take clothes (clean, dry and reusable), paired shoes, runners tied together, handbags, belts, bedding, blankets and sheets. We cannot accept duvets and pillows. This is a great opportunity to clear out your wardrobes before Christmas.

Patrickswell GAA Club are delighted to announce that Brian Lohan will manage the senior hurlers in the 2012 season. Brian brings a wealth of experience to the role after many successful years with the Clare Hurling Team.
